Suspension and Steering
Your vehicles suspension and steering is designed to keep the tyres firmly on the road.
Weak or faulty suspension or steering parts will not only cause a safety issue but will increase tyre wear dramatically and reduce your fuel consumption.
One of the most frequently asked questions we get in our branches is:
'What is the knocking noise under my car?'
The answer to this question is we simply don't know until we have had a look. We can check your suspension and steering components and we can give you a no-obligation quote should your suspension or steering need any repair work.
Suspension and steering faults that are left undetected can cause damage to other parts over a period of time increasing your repair bill. Always remember it's vitally important to get your vehicle's wheel alignment checked after having new suspension or steering components fitted. When we remove and replace steering and suspension parts all the angles of your vehicles geometry will be altered. It is vital that these are reset in order to prevent excessive tyre wear and increased fuel consumption.
Do I get a warranty with new suspension or steering parts?
Yes. All our parts are covered by manufacturers' guarantee against defects and faults we offer a minimum 6 months or 12000 mile warranty depending on the supplier.
Why do I need my Alignment setting up after you've fitted new suspension or steering parts, I only had it set up a few weeks ago?
When we remove and replace steering and suspension parts, all the angles of your vehicle's wheel alignment will be altered. It is vital that these are reset in order to prevent excessive tyre wear and fuel consumption.
